Compact, portable and good playback quality

Aside from the two portable DVD players with screens you also get absolutely everything else you need for this complete set up - the description doesn't really cover all this so here you go:

Two portable players - the screen opens up to reveal the disc space inside
Two remote controls - each powered by two aaa batteries, of which you also get four
Cable to link the two players so both screens can watch one DVD
Two power cables - one for wall charging and one for charging via cigarette lighter in the car
Straps to attach to the back of a headrest
Two pairs of wired headphones

For full features - screen setup etc - you need to use the remote control - you can set up these with the remote and purely play from the player itself (and to be fair the standard setup is pretty decent)

The quality of the screens is very good and with the remote you can set the contrast, brightness, backlight etc and ratio from 4:3 to 16:9 (for older 4:3 ratio DVD), and the sound is decent too though is much better when using wired headphones (the included ones are reasonable enough but if you have a better spec pair then those would be better).

Battery is stated at five hours and as far as I could tell there is no battery level indicator (there may well be on the OSD but I didn't really use that much) and I watched all three of Fulci's Gates of Hell trilogy which is about four and a half hours on the charge that it came with so I think five hours may be understated.

For me, watching a DVD on a massive TV definitely takes away from the overall mood, the flaws are too obvious and it detracts from the enjoyment - the 10" size of this is perfect and shows DVD more in it's original 'quality' from when it first came out - if that makes sense?

You can also use these as monitors to use with Switch etc (using the dock) as it has an HDMI input (but no HDMI included) and this works well, they also play pretty much any region or type of DVD or video file from tf card or USB.

Yes it can be used for car or train journeys etc but for me - this is a low cost DVD player that's helping me get through other region gaps in my collection and I am loving it.

Very handy indeed.

I wont be using this for the car - although you obviously can and the box comes with all the gear you need to do it - but it will be very handy for watching other region DVD's of which I have many and files on sticks that my TV doesn't recognise. I haven't tried linking the player to the TV yet via HDMI but that would be a huge bonus if it works.
The image is very good indeed, the remote controls more than adequate and the whole set up easy to use.
I have watched three movies so far with no need for a recharge yet.
I am very happy with these, I think the seller should enthuse their multi uses and not just stick to in car entertainment as a description.

Kids very pleased

My kids are always very impressed at cars that have built-in screens, especially when they are in the back seat, so I jumped at the chance to try these out.

Of course, you can also use them out of the car too. The package contains everything you need to get set up, including two sets of headphones which are good quality in their own right.

They are easy to set up, and as long as you still have DVDs, or films on any of the other mediums like USB sticks etc, they will work fine. My kids especially liked that they could watch different films at the same time.

Overall, it is a bit of an old-fashioned idea, and my children did go back to their phones quite quickly after watching a film on a long journey, but they have enjoyed using them.
