universal 7 Inch android 4.4 head unit dab

The quad core Android stereo itself is fantastic I can't fault it, and as it's Android OS you can customize it a fair bit. With the help of the XDA forum, you can add on several fantastic addons that only add to the initial experience of it.

A few things to keep in mind though, 2 Din head unit's size in non EU countries is slightly bigger than EU standard, felt as if this could have been to outlined slightly better. This may not be an issue in a lot of cars, but in mine it meant I had to take a dremel to the custome fascia to fit this in. Admittedly it did say check sizes, but when I saw "2 Din" I mistakenly presumed it would be fine.

It does say you can use steering wheel controls and with some or most cars, but with mine (Astra MK6/J) this was not an option. I tried to connect 2 can-bus adapter but apparently this is not compatible and they don't do an adapter for my car. This is minor issue for me but it's worth checking before potential purchase to see if it'll work for your car.

The universal head unit's sound quality is excellent, radio has been fine and reverse camera is brilliant to have. You can install many different helpful apps like Torque to do diagnostics and clear fault codes.

It's easy to root and configure and the AutoPumpkin after sales support I required has been excellent. They are always getting back to me within 24 hours (time difference).
